Coleambally Solar Farm provides employment to 3 full time staff as well as ongoing opportunities for local business and agrisolar partnerships.

The solar farm also provides additional benefits to the surrounding community through a $20,000 annual Community Benefit Fund.

HISTORY

Initial development started in 2016 with the land lease signed in December 2016.

Government Planning Approvals was achieved in October 2017.

Construction started in Jan 2018 and was completed in October 2018. It has been operational ever since.

We are proud to have partnered with Bouygues-Construction who designed and built the solar farm.

The solar farm is now operated by Bouygues-Construction under a long-term contract.
